Kansas Eta is still going strong and proving it is a dominating chapter here at Wichita State and compared to other SigEps in the region. And with all this success, the chapter has been very busy. On Monday, May 1st, SigEp Kansas Eta took home the IFC Fraternity Chapter of the Year for the 2022 calendar year. Gannon Hall, a Freshman studying Finance and member of Kansas Eta, took home Fraternity New Member of the Year.
In April, SigEp and Alpha Phi took first overall in Hippodrome with the best skit, while also grabbing several other awards including Best Actress, Best Script, Best Music, and Best Sets. Brothers Bo Miller (#1501) and Luke McCormack (#1529) were selected as finalists to attend the Ruck Leadership Institute in late March, and they will be traveling to Richmond in Mid-June.
SigEp HQ also gave Kansas Eta several awards in March. The chapter received an Excelsior Award for Improvement in Areas of Operation and Brother Braden Botkin (#1563) was awarded the J. Edward Zollinger Outstanding Senior Award.
Also, note on your calendar as a future event, our Balanced Man Scholarship Banquet will be hosted on September 24th. Alumni are invited to attend. If you have an interest in doing so, please email Bo at thebomiller.k@gmail.com. If you know of any incoming WSU freshman, please encourage them to apply at https://wichita.sigep.org/bms/ To keep up with this info and all other updates on the chapter and undergrads, continue to follow @sigepwichitastate on Instagram!
If you know any young men attending Wichita State this upcoming school year, please encourage them to complete a BMS Scholarship application, which is available at https://wichita.sigep.org/bms/ and contact our VP of Recruitment, Luke McCormack, at (316) 304-6087.
Overall, SigEp Kansas Eta is still continuing to create extensive developments and successes, pushing the chapter forward in 2023.
