Proud to be a SigEp.
We are the men of Sigma Phi Epsilon of the Kansas Eta chapter. We strive to build balanced men in all facets of life. Located at Wichita State University, we strive to live by principles founded by our brothers, the original 12 founding fathers in Richmond, Virginia in 1901.
The SigEp experience at Wichita State is unlike any other. Many brothers who pass through our red door their first year and walk out after their commencement will tell you that our fraternity has changed their life for the better. This is one of the primary goals of SigEp. In short, we build balanced men.
Our Balanced Man Program builds us as leaders by Sound Mind and Sound Body principles. Each day whether we are inside the walls of our beautiful chapter house, the Scott Nienke Residential Learning Center, or out and about carrying on our daily lives, the lessons of Sigma Phi Epsilon will always be valuable ones to consider.
Our Culture.
Wichita State University is fortunate to have a unique greek culture. With there only being 7 men's social fraternities, greek life at our university may first appear to be an unassuming clique. However, these circumstances have led to a tight-knit greek community with loads of philanthropy and ways to give back. Every year at the Kansas Eta chapter of SigEp, we host a multitude of philanthropic events to give back because selflessness is part of what it means to be a balanced man.
